St. John School is first and foremost a Catholic school. Our goal is to support and promote the Christian values taught at home. We accomplish this by weaving the following three priorities into our curriculum every day.
First Priority: There is a God and God loves you. This message is taught through the catechism of the Catholic faith. We believe that if our students graduate with the belief that God loves them, no matter what challenges they may face, they will live a productive and happy life.
Second Priority: Respect. It isn't enough to be kind and helpful to your friends and family. Students at St. John School learn the meaning of respect through community service; making a difference in people's lives that they have never met.
Third Priority: Thoughtfulness. Our students are taught to think. Much of our curriculum involves problem solving. Our students are preparing for careers that don't exist yet. However, we believe that if our students are taught to think before they act, they will become the leaders of tomorrow in whatever career they choose.
